What is Linden Flower?

The Linden is a high tree with long-life and native throughout Europe. The Lime Tree is found mostly in the old adult forest. It is cultivating and self-sustaining, and is widely used due to its medicinal properties. Although its dispersion has declined in the last 2000 years, it is still widespread in urban and residential areas and is most commonly found in the mountainous regions of central and eastern Europe. Dried Linden flowers, leaves and wood of this tree have medicinal uses. Flowers 5 petals, aromatic and yellow-white, are stored after spring bloom, dried and kept in low humidity. Flowers are the most valuable ingredient in the Tilia. The periosteal leaves are similar to the heart with a toothed margin. Today it is grown for commercial purposes in the most areas of Iran.
